Bukaka is a pioneer leading company in manufacturing and construction of high voltage and extra high voltage transmission lines in Indonesia. First manufactured transmission lines were of the 70 kV capacities 150 kV in 1981 and 500 kV double circuit tower in 1984. In 1993, Bukaka completed a turn key package for a 500 kV. Until 2010, BUKAKA has completed several turn key package with a capacity of 70 kV to 500 kV.
In recent years, Bukaka Teknik Utama has succeeded in producing and installing a long arch bridges in almost all over Indonesia such as Pela and Mahulu Bridge in East Kalimantan, and Kahayan and Kalahien Bridges in Central Kalimanan, Siak Tiga Bridge, Teluk Masjid and Siak Empat in Pekan Baru, Riau.
