Key tasks
The Receptionist is responsible for the stays of guests in the hotel. He or she maintains the guest folder from arrival to payment on departure. Depending on the individual hotels, he or she may also:
  • Manage the telephone switchboard and take reservations
  • Manage the till and prepare bills
  • Look after some items of accountancy refunds, payment of invoices deferred by travel agencies, etc
